Well hello...

We have an update that actually has some news in it, rather than the ramblings and musings that we normally send out. 

First up, the most important bit of news. 

NEW SINGLE 

Our first single proper Circles is being released on October 15th. 
We recorded this with producer Rob Kirwan of 140db (New Order, Strange Death of Liberal England, Fields, The Horrors). 
It's backed by Dinosaurs, which the perceptive of you out there will know we recorded with Kramer for our EP last year. 
It's so warm and pretty that we wanted to hear it on vinyl. 

So yes, the single will be released on a limited number of red 7" inch vinyl, which we can assure you are looking FREAKIN GORGEOUS. The artwork, as usual, was designed by us, see if you can guess which band member is posing for the cover. 

It's also be available as a digital download and on limited CD. Buy all the formats, they look lovely. Except the download which is of course not a physical entity so you can't  stroke it and love it in quite same way.

WEBSITE 

We've also been redesigning our website, which is now live. There are loads of pictures, news and a media player etc on there, so why not pay it a visit? 

Soon there'll be some tshirts available (there's a store you know), and other bits and bobs. We've also recently added a video player to showcase videos (of course) and bits of footage from gigs, practice etc. You can also tell us 'what you're listening to at the moment', or whatever on the forum....

GIGS 

We're always adding gigs to the website and Myspace and you'll read about them in our mailouts but here are a couple of special dates for your diary; 

Saturday 15th September - Newcastle
We're playing a one-off acoustic(ish) gig, at a location which will be divulged to mailing list members/Myspacers soon enough. 
It's an exclusive opportunity to hear the new songs up close and is INVITE ONLY. We'll be supplying you with free alcohol. you can't say fairer than a bribe like that.

Monday 15th October - HMV, Newcastle. 
To celebrate the release of Circles we're playing an exclusive instore set at the Northumberland Street HMV store at 5pm. Again more details on this when we have them but it will be free and we might even take requests!
